Pool and Spa DE Filters parts

DE filters parts ,  American Products/Pentair ,  Hayward ,  Jacuzzi,  PacFab/Pentair ,  Purex/Pentair ,  Sta-Rite/Pentair ,  Swimquip/Pentair ,  Waterway ,

DE(Diatomaceous Earth) filters are considered by many to be the best filters since they can remove smaller particles than either sand or cartridges.

Diatomaceous earth is a porous powder with microscopic openings. Under magnification it looks like tiny sponges. Like a sponge it allows clear water to pass but traps particles as small as 5 microns.

All DE filters have a hfer http://www.allpartspoolandspa.com/store/main.aspx?p=CategoryListBody&c=FG> internal elements or grids that are coated with the diatomaceous earth. These then trap dirt, dust, algae, and some bacteria and remove them from the water. To clean DE filters, they are either backwashed to waste or drained. To regenerate or restore filtration a fresh amount of DE is added to the filter.

Many manufacturers make DE filters and they are listed by manufacturer on this page, www.allpartspoolandspa.com

Pool and Spa Filter finder

Pool and Spa Filter finder  ,

Filter Finder can be a real time saver when you are trying to find the right cartridge filter for you spa or pool.

It can be used to find your filter quickly with only a few pieces of information.

If you know the manufacturer and model of your spa or filter cartridge, you can put those names into the filter finder and it will give you the filters available. If you have an old filter and it has a number on it, you can use that to find the All Parts number for your filter. If you have the old filter handy you can measure its length and diameter and use that to find you filter.

If you have multiple pieces of information, just put in the first one you have, wait for the screen to update and then add your next bit of information. You can add as many or as little information as you have. Just remember to wait for the screen to update in between each addition. When you have added all your information, hit the search button and

You will get a list of filters that fit your criteria.

The more information you enter, the shorter the list. But sometimes you may not see what you are looking for because you have put in too much information and one of them might be slightly off, such as a measurement. If you do not see your filter, use less pieces of information.

If you are using just measurements and you can not find what you are looking for, choose a slightly longer of slightly shorter length or diameter. Age and wear can effect these measurements.

Once you have the All Parts number, most of the filters show a picture that you can use to compare to your old filter. Be aware that sometimes there may be slight differences, such as the pull handle shape. These will still be the correct replacement. www.allpartspoolandspa.com
